Fun Fun Fun Fest re-cap

Well, Fun Fun Fun Fest is over, and I'm back home organizing all my recordings. I brought my camera, but only filmed 4 sets on the Friday edition of "FFF Nites." The dust and wind were both pretty intense the entire weekend, so I'm not sure how the sets from the main fest that I recorded will sound. I'll be going through them all the next couple of weeks. I didn't go nuts trying to recorded everything like I did at Krazy Fest this year, so there isn't the same kind of quantity, but still some quality coming on this blog. I've had a lot of my plate the last couple of months, but I haven't been staying home the entire time. I'm finally starting to catch up, and should be posting audio sets from Lucero, Melvins, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Agalloch, Floor and more! Video sets include Deafheaven, Seraphim, Lumber Lung, and Touche Amore. A flood of sets should begin tomorrow with a Melvins show from January playing two sets(!), including the entire Houdini record!

This will be my third attempt at starting one of these, but hopefully this one will stick. The plan is to use this place to share the various recordings I make, ideally not too long after the events happen. I'm still working on audio from Sound & Fury last July, so we'll see how well that works out. I'm planning on bringing out some of my favorites from "the archives" as well; shows that I think should be heard by someone other than myself. I'd like to do this with my pre-youtube video as well, but am still trying to figure out a economical way to reconfigure my transferring setup because it is a pain to just keep up as it is.

Expect the first audio content next week; there is a *free* show on Sunday that I should be able to make it down to LA. However, the video camera will be left at home. The first video content will be from the Joyce Manor record release show on the 15th with Touche Amore/Deafheaven/Low Places.
