Fun Fun Fun Fest re-cap

Well, Fun Fun Fun Fest is over, and I'm back home organizing all my recordings. I brought my camera, but only filmed 4 sets on the Friday edition of "FFF Nites." The dust and wind were both pretty intense the entire weekend, so I'm not sure how the sets from the main fest that I recorded will sound. I'll be going through them all the next couple of weeks. I didn't go nuts trying to recorded everything like I did at Krazy Fest this year, so there isn't the same kind of quantity, but still some quality coming on this blog. Some quality stuff in there. Really disappointed I missed Boris (twice!) and the Deafheaven show at Red 7 on Saturday. Look for uploads to start being posted soon. Also have audio and video from the Bane tour at Chain Reaction that is just about ready to go. Some good stuff should be taped this weekend too!

Fun Fun Fun Fest 2011 (Austin, TX)

Looks like I'm going to Fun Fun Fun Fest in a couple weeks. A few days ago I stumbled across some really, REALLY cheap plane tickets to Austin, and decided at 3am that I have to go. I don't think I'm going to be allowed to bring my video camera into the festival, but I'm going to bring it anyway and hopefully be able to film some of the after shows that have some pretty awesome bands playing. I will be bringing my audio gear with me for the whole thing; feel free to leave comments on any bands playing that weekend that you'd like me to tape and I'll do my best. Also, if there is anybody that reads this that is from Austin...you should let me sleep on your floor. I'm quiet, clean, and I'll bring you copies of whatever live recordings you want.
